The Inner Compass Collective (ICC) is seeking a board-certified PMHNP or Psychiatrist to join a clinician-first, generalist practice with a large neurodivergent and trauma caseload. This role is ideal for a prescriber who values autonomy, strong therapist collaboration, and a steady, well-supported caseload.
Why ICC
Compensation: 70% reimbursement for independently licensed clinicians (e.g., if insurance reimburses $100, you receive $70).
Estimated annual earnings for PMHNP-BC candidates:
$107,000 – $153,000+ (full-time)
$45,000 – $105,000 (part-time)
Estimated annual earnings for Psychiatrist candidates:
$150,000 – $230,000+ (full-time)
$65,000 – $155,000 (part-time)
Ranges based on billable hours worked, billing codes used, and payer mix. Higher earnings are achievable based on special skills, experience, and/or training.
Administrative support: Office space (Maryland only), EHR, billing/claims and appeals, prior authorizations, and optional client scheduling.
Credentialing: ICC will facilitate the credentialing process for you along with payer enrollment support.
Referrals: Internal and external referrals with a steady demand.
Incentives: Production incentives tied to billable hours/production value.
Marketing: Dedicated budget to build and sustain your caseload.
Guaranteed payment: Paid twice monthly for all billable hours worked and completed, regardless of insurer payment timing.
No non-compete clause: Clinicians are welcome to work any capacity outside of ICC in addition to this role.
Payer panels: ICC is in-network with major insurers. Credentialing is required for this role but will be facilitated by ICC. Medicare/Medicaid enrollment strongly encouraged but not required.
Locations: This is a hybrid position serving the entire state of Maryland. On-site, we are currently looking to service the Howard and Carroll County, Maryland areas, but are open to the possibility of establishing a new office location for the right candidate.
Medical equipment: ICC may furnish certain kinds of medical equipment (e.g., vitals station, scale, BP cuff, etc.) required for patient rooming.
Clinician autonomy: ICC will handle the administrative tasks to the extent of clinician preference in addition to a collaborative clinical environment and leadership that is open to clinician ideas and feedback.
What you’ll do
Provide evidence-based psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management.
Coordinate care with ICC therapists (strong ADHD/trauma bench).
Use measurement-based care where appropriate; maintain timely documentation in the EHR.
Offer culturally responsive care to neurodivergent adults and trauma survivors.
Required qualifications
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC):
Active, unencumbered Maryland RN and APRN/NP license with Psychiatric-Mental Health specialty (or willingness to obtain a Maryland license). Maryland is a full practice authority state for NPs (no physician attestation/collaboration required once certified)
National board certification: PMHNP-BC (ANCC, across the lifespan).
Prescriptive authority: Maryland CDS registration (with PDMP registration and required CE) and DEA registration.
NPI Type 1 number, CAQH profile (or willingness to establish), and eligibility for commercial payer enrollment.
Psychiatrist (MD/DO):
Active, unrestricted Maryland medical license (or eligibility and willingness to obtain).
Residency in Psychiatry (ACGME-accredited) and board certification or board-eligibility by ABPN (within standard timelines).
Prescriptive authority: Maryland CDS registration (with PDMP registration and required CE) and DEA registration.
NPI Type 1 number, CAQH profile (or willingness to establish), and eligibility for commercial payer enrollment.
Preference given to candidates:
Who have experience with ADHD, autism, complex trauma, and comorbid mood/anxiety disorders.
Who have comfort blending medication management with skills-based, trauma-informed care.
Who have prior in-network credentialing in MD (commercial payers, Medicare/Medicaid).
Who have interest in collaborative care with other ICC clinicians.
Who are seeking full-time status (25-30 billable hours per week).
Schedule and setting
Contract type: 1099 independent contractor.
Setting: Hybrid (telehealth + optional in-person at ICC offices).
Hours: Flexible; part-time or full-time caseloads available.
Start date: Immediate, subject to credentialing.

The Inner Compass Collective is immediately seeking LCSW or LPC clinicians who specialize in working with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and/or Autism. Candidates must be fully licensed—or eligible for licensure—in Texas. We primarily operate via telehealth and welcome applications from licensed clinicians anywhere in the United States. We plan to expand our in-person services as demand grows.
Position highlights:
1099 contractor role with flexible scheduling (minimum of 5 sessions/week or 20 sessions/month).
Complete Autonomy: You have total control over your client caseload and schedule and you decide how much or little you'd like to work.
Guaranteed Payment twice per month for completed billable hours, regardless of insurance delays.
Competitive Reimbursement Splits: We pay you 60% of the final session fee (including no shows), with room for even more growth based one special skills and/or training.*
Comprehensive Support: Billing, EHR, credentialing, and essential subscriptions are provided by Inner Compass, with full administrative support available based on your needs.

Position Requirements:
Licensed or willingness to attain licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or equivalent in Texas.
A demonstrated desire to self-improve clinical skills and efficacy.
Must complete a criminal background check.
At least one certification in ADHD and/or Autism treatment (ADHD-PT, ADHD-CCSP, CAS, etc.) is highly preferred.
